This decorative vintage wooden shoe tree comes in 2 parts, the twistable stem and the toe horn.
The twisting wooden mechanism allows the shoe tree to be raised and lowered inside the shoe, such a fantastic feature. The stem is finished with an oak circular addition to the end, to prevent the stem from being fully removed.
The toe section has a hollowed out underside, which both have a '5' '3' stamp, showing they are a rare original pair.
Displaying a lovely bright oak patina that accentuates this lovely pair of shoe trees. There is a dark oak line to one of the shoes, this is not a crack.
This shoe tree is a well made item of footwear memorabilia that would look great on display or as a prop or just home decoration.
Overall in excellent vintage condition with slight signs of use, and veneer wear, as expected from an item of this age.
There are 2 construction holes to the heels of the shoe trees.
