Vintage Oak Writing Bureau Mid 20th-Century Carved Storage Delivery Available

This is a gorgeous mid 20th Century Writing Bureau Desk that would complement many vintage home dining, living room or office settings.

The fall front of the desk is adorned with a striking carved beaded front design.

The fall front that can be dropped to expose the striking interior with 10 pigeon holes and a smaller drawer underneath, perfect for storing documents, papers, books or memorabilia. 

The desk is supported by two hinged slats that extend automatically when the desk is opened. 

There is no lock present for the front of the desk.

The bureau displays a rich, warm oak patination that is sure to add a wonderful country charm to the home decor. 

The front of the desk has a smaller upper drawers and two large spacious lower drawer, perfect for linen or blanket storage.

All of the drawers are finished with wonderful carved oak handles.

The bureau stands proudly on 4 panel shaped feet with additional curved supports.

Overall, this writing bureau is in great vintage condition, with slight signs of use and veneer wear as to be expected from years of historical use (see photographs).
