This is a gorgeous mid 20th Century ladies Writing desk that would complement many antique styled dining, or living room or office home settings. Circa 1940.
With a beautiful mahogany fall front, that is finished with a metal circular handle and a raised boarder. The front can be dropped to expose the quality interior with pigeon holes, drawers, and a useful leather writing desk top. The desk top is supported by the front ledge, and two metal hanging supports.
The striking interior has 8 small pigeon holes with two small interior drawers, perfect for storing documents, papers, books or memorabilia. The interior also has a carved slot that is useful for holding pens.
The front of the bureau has a front drawer, with two striking matching circular metal handles.
The bureau stands proudly on 4 excellent cabriole legs, with carving to the knees and lower front design. The legs are finished with circular feet.

Overall, this vintage writing desk is in great vintage condition, with general signs of use and, wear and marks as to be expected from years of historical use (see photographs) There is signs of damage, and historical wear to the leather top which would need recovering (see photographs).
