This gorgeous Vintage Writing desk has many elegant and timeless features that would excentuate a mid century home office or lounge setting. Circa 1950.
The desk has a large rectangular mahogany tabletop, with a curved backrail.
To the front is a large, single deep front drawer, with two smaller side drawers. All of the drawers have two beautiful swan neck brass drop handles, and raised boarders.
Where the user sits, there is a lovely curved addition to finish.
Standing proudly on four excellent square legs that have been finished with an outward splay, showing truly quality craftsmanship.
This wonderful desk displays a rich mahogany patination that is sure to make for a stylish addition to a vintage home décor.
Overall, this vintage writing desk is in great condition, with signs of use, scratched to the tabletop and wear. But still a very charming and useful writing desk (see photographs).
There is a piece of veneer missing to the front right corner (see photographs).
