This is a delightful Victorian Writing Desk that adds a period sophistication to the home office or living room décor. Circa 1890s.
With a rectangular writing desk. The freestanding desk has a single pedestal (to the right side) of 3 drawers, with the other side being open to fit a small (potentially child's) writing chair underneath.
The pedestal holds 3 spacious drawers, all of which are finished with charming drop handles.
The desk exterior displays a wonderful teak patination, truly enriching the office home decor.
Overall, this writing desk is in great antique condition, with signs of general use and veneer wear, and 2 small cracks to either side of the desk, as to be expected from an item with years of use (see photographs).
There is a historical wood filler to the desk top (see photograph).
