The solid backrest leads down to form two square backwards splayed legs.

Leading down this chair stands proudly on two excellently turned front legs, with tapered circular feet.
This is a gorgeous English Victorian hall chair that would provide period character to a hallway, kitchen or dining room home setting.
Overall, this hall chair is in great antique condition with slight signs of use and veneer wear, as to be expected from an item with decades of historical age (see photographs).
There is slight signs of historical glue by the previous owner between the backrest and seat, to provide strong structure and support (see photograph).
There is a historical crack to the left leg that has also been strongly glue repaired (see photograph).
