Here we have a beautiful pair of Victorian Dining Chairs.
With a large figured splatback that joins the curved top rail and tall elegant side rails to form the backrest. The side rails lead down to down the backward splayed backlegs.
There are numbers to the inside of the mahogany frame, representing they are both originals and a pair.
Both the chair seats have been reupholstered, one of the upholstered seats has beautiful maroon colours, with the other chair having a bright golden colour.
They have been filled with horsehair for padding, proving comfortable and stylish seating.
Standing proudly on two gorgeous curved Queen Anne front legs.
A pair of English 19thC Dining Chairs that would add such timeless and wonderful character to many period or country dining room, living room or kitchen setting.
Overall these dining chairs are in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use and slight veneer wear to the front (as photographed), as to be expected from a pair of antique dining chairs with historic years of use.
With a couple of signs of marks to the upholstered fabric (as photographed).
