There are markers marks to the chair back 'J.R.G.W.' and a 'W' indicating they are original Victorian period dining chairs.
Standing proudly on two excellently turned front legs with bulbous designs, finished with circular feet.
The balloon back rest rails lead down to form the two backsplayed legs.
The chair has an excellent figured boarder surrounding the seat.
The chair frame has originally been constructed with large wooden screws to the back of the chair, holding the legs to the frame, such an elegant design from this period.
Upholstered in a chenille upholstered teal colour for added comfort, ensuring a luxurious dining experience. There are staples to the underside of the chair cover.
Crafted from a deep mahogany that displays a rich charming patina.
