This is a gorgeous pine chest of drawers, with exquisite and timeless Victorian qualities. Circa 1890.
Displaying an excellent pine patina to the chest top and front that truly add a touch of country charm.
The chest top has a carved lower lip.
The chest front has two upper drawers, above two lower spacious graduating drawers that are prefect for storing linens, clothes, or blankets, such a delightful addition to a bedroom.
The drawers are all finished with gorgeous brass drop handles.
The lower left drawer handle has been replaced (see photograph).
Standing proudly on figured lower framed feet, with a front curved boarder.
This Victorian chest of drawers would make a charming addition to many country or rustic styled homes, in the living room, bedroom or kitchen setting.
Overall, this pine chest of drawers is in great antique condition, with signs of use and veneer wear as to be expected from an item with years of historical age (see photographs). There is a large wood crack down the chest top (see photograph).
The left side of the lower drawer can be pushed in slightly further than expected.
