This gorgeous 19th Century Chest of drawers adds a charming handcrafted, period style to the bedroom or living room home setting.
Displaying a rich mahogany patination to the rectangular chest top, that is finished with a boardering lip.
The chest front has an beautiful arrangement of two short over three large graduating drawers. Each drawer has striking matching brass drop handles, with a carved boarder to finish. The drawers have striking key holes, unfortunately there is no key, but this does not effect the functionality of the item at all.
The chest has fluted carved side pillars that truly excentuate the timeless antique finish.
Standing proudly on four figured feet, with a raised boarder.
This wonderful Victorian Chest of Drawers would compliment the home setting in a plethora of rooms.
Overall this chest of drawers is in good antique condition, with signs of use and wear as to be expected from an item of this age (see photographs).
The front left foot shows there to be missing finishing wood, as well as missing wood to the left and right lower boarder.
There is wood missing to the upper boarder of the chest to the back left corner, right corner and back right corner (see photographs).
There is wood missing to the right front foot and back left foot, but this has no structural affect (see photographs).
