This is a gorgeous Victorian wash stand with many 19th-century hand crafted features.
With a beautifully carved foliage and spiralled upper back frame, that sits above a lovely long shelf. The shelf is flanked by elegantly curved side panels.
There is a hole to the wash stand top that would comfortably hold a large bowl, or washing pot, or simply for holding decorative items.
Leading down the turned legs hold a lower shelf and large drawer with a pine knob, perfect for storing cutlery or dishware.
The legs are finished with turned feet.
Displaying a gorgeous pine patination that would add country charm and character to many kitchens, living or dining room settings.
Overall, this Victorian washstand is in great antique condition with signs of use and wear as to be expected (see photographs).
With signs of historical woodworm that have been professionally treated to the left side, back right leg, and the back feet (see photographs).
