The bed is constructed with a large headboard, a footboard, two side connecting rails, and 8 wooden slats.
This wonderful sleigh bed design has a curved headboard and footboard, and with the side rails it resembling a sleigh.
The headboard and footboard both have beautiful rectangular panel designs, and are finished with additional turned finials. The headboard and footboard are both finished with turned solid feet.
The headboard and footboard have metal notches, which the metal additions to the side rails can hook into. The bed requires no screws and can be assembled without any further parts. The wood slats do require some pressure and swapping to get them into place, but once in they will fit firmly.
The bed frame is make for a queen bed.

Overall, this bed frame is in excellent condition, with signs of use and veneer wear and marks to the wood, as to be expected from an item with year of historical age (see photographs).
There are a couple of wooden square additions for the wood slats to sit between missing, causing 2 planks to become loose.
