This gorgeous pair of vintage Thonet style bentwood chairs are perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and vintage charm to their home, café, or bistro setting. Circa 1950s.
The backrest is constructed with elegantly curved turned supports, connected by turned sides. The turned sides lead down to form the circular back splayed feet.
With a gorgeous intricate bentwood style seat that compliments the classic design of these chairs.
Underneath the seat, connecting all of the turned legs is a wonderful circular stretcher, another stylish feature.
These chairs have been stamped 'foreign made' to the underside.
Displaying a wonderful deep rich dark patination to the wood.
Overall, these vintage bentwood chairs are in great condition, with signs of use and veneer wear as to be expected from a chair with years of age (see photographs).
There is a historical crack to a circular stretchers to one of the chairs, but this doesn't affect the functionality at all (see photographs).
