This beautiful Edwardian Tambour Roll Top Writing Bureau is a stylish and functional addition to the home office decor. Circa 1910.
Featuring a gorgeous smooth rolling top design with a front has a large drawer, both are finished with wonderful rectangular handles. There is a boarder surrounding the top of the desk.
The desk interior has 7 pigeon holes, useful for storing documents, papers, books and it is convenient for organisation.
The desk has two lower shelves, which are supported by turned side finials.
The sides of the desk lead down to form the solid base for the desk.
The warm oak patination adds a touch of sophistication and practicality the home workspace.
Overall, this antique writing desk is in great condition, with general signs of use, veneer wear and marks as to be expected from years of historical use (see photographs)
The top of the desk, and the interior pigeon holes have been reglued to ensure it is solid.
