Shield Back Dining Chair Wheat Sheaf Carved Victorian Inlaid Postage Available

This is a beautiful Victorian shield back dining chair with an elegantly hand crafted wheat sheaf motif design to form the backrest.

With a wide comfortable floral needlepoint upholstered seat, connecting the front tapered legs to the outward splayed back legs.

The front legs have a gorgeous inter twining Inlaid design to the front and side of the legs.

Such a delightful shieldback Victorian dining chair that would compliment many dining or living rooms settings.

Overall, this dining chair is in great antique condition, with slight signs of use and wear, as to be expected from a chair with years of age.

There is a slight historical crack to the back of the shieldback frame, but this doesn't effect the functionality at all (see photographs).

The upholstered seat is worn with holes, and has green fabric exposed to either side of the upholstered seat (see photographs).
