This gorgeous mahogany Pembroke work table has many rare features only found in a quality Victorian antique item. With a one of a kind work table that can rotate separately from the base, allowing for the user to access the table from any side.
With a pair of wonderful drop leaves to either side of the work table top. The drop leaves and the tabletop both display a beautiful chequed inlaid pattern, a feature of a fine quality Victorian antique.
With two front square drawers, and a lower red fabric triangular well drawer, perfect storage for utensils, tools, materials or general work items. The two top drawers have their origin small brass handles, the lower triangular drawer has a replaced brass knob.
The sides has a fantastic circular wooden bolt to hold the work top upright and solid. Leading down to a excellent bulbus design, with a turned finish that allows the table to freely rotate from the pedestal base.
Proudly stood on wonderful carved foliage scroll feet, that hold the inlaid pedestal base.
Overall this Pembroke work table is in excellent antique condition, with slight signs of use and slight signs of veneer wear to the table, still a quality antique item.
There is a small piece of veneer missing to the back (as photographed).
