This is a gorgeous 1950's Writing Bureau desk with many striking timeless details that are sure to impress in a Vintage styled Office or living room setting.
The beautiful drop front can be opened to expose the quality leather interior writing desk. The desk has two hinged slats that automatically support the desk as it is being opened. The fall front has a key hole, but no key.
The interior has 3 small drawers with striking circular designed knobs to either side.
The interior has 5 pigeon holes, which are useful for storing documents, books, or papers.
The front of the desk has one smaller upper drawer and three wonderful large spacious lower drawers.
The drawers are finished with striking figured metal drop handles that truly highlight the Vintage style. There are no keys available to lock the drawers.
Standing proudly on 4 excellent figured feet.
This bureau was originally made by 'Jaycee Furniture' as shown to the plaque on the back.

Overall, this writing bureau is in excellent condition, with signs of use and veneer wear as to be expected from an item with year of use (see photographs).
