This wonderful 19th-century armchair is sure to excentuate a country living, or kitchen décor with many classic and timeless features.
Displaying a rich Elm patination to the front of the chair, that provides a warm farmhouse character in the home.
With an excellent ladder backrest that's constructed from 6 curved back slats that are held by the two turned side rails.
The side rails connect to the proud open armrests and lead down to form the square square back legs.
The carved armrests have striking turned front supports, which lead down to form the solid front legs.
The chair has a wide rush seat that comes with a cushion for extra comfort.
The front legs are connected with a gorgeous turned spindle, with a double turned spindle to either side and a single spindle to the back legs.
This charming 1890's Country Armchairs is sure to create a statement in a kitchen, bedroom, or living room setting.
Overall, this armchair is in great condition, with obvious signs of use and veneer wear, as to be expected from chairs with years of age (see photographs). With a couple stains to the cushion (see photograph).
