This is an exquisite Georgian tripod tilt-top table that displays excellent craftsmanship, and is sure to make a statement in the living room or dining room home settings. Circa 1820.
The rectangular tabletop displays a gorgeous rich mahogany patination, and is finished with a curved lip.
Leading down to a wonderfully turned vase shaped leg, standing proudly on three sturdy curved feet.
The tabletop has a hinge and lock, allowing it to be tilted up for easy storage or locked in place for use in the kitchen or living room.
This timeless Early 19th-century tilt top table is a quality period item that would compliment many period living, dining or kitchen decor.
Overall, this table is in excellent antique condition, with signs of use and scratches to the tabletop, and and veneer wear to the legs, as to be expected from years of historical use (see photographs).
