This is a wonderful Large Georgian Sideboard with many classic antique featuring that would impress in the living or dining room home setting. Circa 1830.
This sideboard boasts a right-handed slab door and a deep drawer to the left side, with a large central drawers, offering storage and functionality for plates, cutlery and other dining utensils.
The drawers and doors all have the original brass lion ring handles, with the locks present, but there is no key to lock them.
The sideboard has a serpentine shaped design to the front.
With beautiful crossbanding and inlaid designs to the front of the sideboard that contrasts against the rich mahogany patination, truly adding to the period character.
Standing proudly on six square tapering legs.
Overall, this sideboard is in great antique condition, with minor signs of use and veneer wear to the sideboard top (as photographed).
There are two minor burn marks to the top.
There are two signs of veneer damage to the drawers boarders and to the beading on the legs (see photograph).
There is are visual cracks to the door interior, sideboard right side, and to the front lower lip (see photographs).
