Georgian Dining Carver Armchair Pierced Tapestry Upholstered Postage Available
This is a beautiful Georgian dining carver armchair, crafted in the 19th century with gorgeous period features. Circa 1800.
The backrest displays an elegantly hand carved pierced back splat with a bursting design. The back rest is joined to the gorgeous sweeping down side rails.
Supporting the backrest by either side is the wonderfully curved armrests.
The seat has been upholstered in a striking bright coloured tapestry floral design, adding such class, and making for such a comfortable seat.
With two proudly stood solid front square legs. The sweeping side rails lead down to form the backward splayed square back legs.
The legs are all connected by a solid H-frame stretcher.
Such a lovely Georgian country armchair with timeless age that would compliment many country settings, in a dining room, living room or kitchen space.
There are no signs of marks to the upholstered seat (see photographs).
Overall, this Georgian armchairs is in excellent antique condition, with slight signs of use and veneer wear, as to be expected from years of age.
There is a slight cracks to the back splat, but this doesn't affect functionality at all (see photographs).
