George III Tripod Table Tilt Top 1800s English Delivery Available
This George III tilt top tripod table is an excellent example of a 1800s period item, displaying a wonderful antique mahogany patina.
With a large circular thick tabletop, on a tilt top with a hinge and latch mechanism, to tilt the tabletop upright for easy storage.
The table has a solid central vase shaped pedestal, proudly stood on a tripod curved cabriole legs with handcarved pad shaped feet.
Such a fantastic historical antique with quality handcraftsmanship that would compliment many period or country styled living, dining rooms or kitchen settings.
A very solid construction, from heavy mahogany wood.
Overall, this Georgian tripod table is in great antique condition, such a solid period construction, with slight signs of use and wear, and signs marks and a slight crack to the tabletop wood, as to be expected from an item with historic age (as photographed).
There was historical woodworm to the tabletop and pedestal top where the table sits, that has been professionally treated by the previous owner (see photographs).
There is a slight crack to one of the legs, but doesn't effect the structural functionality at all (as photographed).
