This is a gorgeous 19th-century French Walnut Open Armchair, that has been crafted with timeless quality features.
Crafted with a large padded backrest, with a curved upper frame. The striking curved armrests are a talking piece, that connect the backrest to the comfortable sprung seat.
The backrest and sest have been upholstered in a Chenille multicoloured floral fabric, with a two person design, finished with a buttoned boarder, providing a charming finish.
Stood proudly on four excellently carved, wiggled legs, connected by a solid H-frame stretcher with the same design. The feet are finished with metal pads.
Overall, this heavy carved armchair is in excellent antique condition, with slight signs of use and historical wear, as to be expected with years of historical age (see photographs).
