This beautiful Elm Rush Seat features a gorgeous triple tiered spindle backrest, and a wonderful rush seat. Finished with a small Finial to the top of the backrest.
This armchair is a true representation of a stunning Edwardian antique, displaying the fine elm patina that it is crafted from.
The spindle backrest is held with two tall side rails that lead down to form the solid square back legs.
Connected to the beautiful shaped arm rests that lead down to the solid front square legs. The armrests and the rush seat provide such a comfortable seat.
The legs are joined with a double h stretchers to the sides, with a solid front turned spindle, creating a solid structure.
Suitable for adding a touch of country charm to many rooms from the living room, kitchen or hallway, to the dining room.
Overall in great antique condition, with minimal signs of use and wear, rare to find the rush seat in good condition.
There are minimal signs of paint splatter to the rush seat.
