This is a gorgeous Edwardian Oak Chest of drawers, with wonderful country features that excentuate the home bedroom or living room setting. Circa 1910.
Displaying a warm Oak patination to the rectangular chest top, that is finished with a carved lip.
The chest front has a beautiful arrangement of two short over three large graduating drawers. Each drawer has the original striking matching metal drop handles to finish, a fantastic Edwardian quality.
Proudly standing a lower plinth based, with a lower raised boarder to finish.
This is a handsome Edwardian Chest of Drawers, that would compliment the home setting in a plethora of rooms.
Overall this chest of drawers is in great antique condition, with signs of use and veneer wear as to be expected from an item of this age (see photographs).
There are historical signs of woodworm that have been fully treated to the top, back of the chest (see photographs).
The chest top has a slight split between the planks, where the front side sits slightly higher than the back side (see photograph).
There is a small crack of wood that has been previously glued to the right side of the chest lip (see photograph).
The two lower drawers can be pushed slightly deeper than expected (see photographs).
