This elegant Edwardian drop leaf table is a true statement piece from the bobbin turned legs to the drop leaf tabletop design.
With a fabulous oval shaped tabletop with a curved perimeter, supported with its drop leaf design, it is held open with two lovely antique wooden hinged arms to the underside of the table.
Stood on excellent bobbin turned legs that lead down to the curved lower feet. The feet are finished with original porcelain rolling castors and are connected with two central lower bobbin turned spindles.
The tabletop displays a gorgeous Mahogany patina, giving it a warm brown colour that complements many kitchen, living room, lounge or dining room décors.
Overall, this drop leaf table is in great antique condition, with signs of use, wear, and markings to the tabletop, but still a quality historical edwardian item.
There is a block of wood that has come away from the underside that holds the leg in place, but this has been historically glued, so there is no movement to the leg.
