This gorgeous Regency-styled Vintage side table is a reproduction, with many timeless and elegant features.
This table has convenient drop leaf features, making it ideal to extend for hosting gatherings or everyday meals. The drop leaf and tabletop are both adorned with an inlaid design boarder.
The tabletop drop leaves are held open by handles underneath to each side.
To the front are two large drawers that are finished with beautiful circular floral metal hanging handles. To the back is a matching false pair of drawers with floral handles.
This side table stands proudly on two curved sides, with three wonderful turned spindle connectors (lyre like). The sides are joined with a turned central lower stretcher.
The sides lead down to form two square legs to either side, finished with metal lion paw rolling castors.
The rich mahogany patination and elegant design, making it a stylish addition to many hallways, dining or living room décors.
Overall, this antique side table is in great condition, with signs of use, scratches to the tabletop, and veneer wear, a very charming and useful piece of furniture (see photographs).There is a sign of historical veneer damage to the back of the tabletop corner (see photograph).
There are historical signs of woodworm to the right side underneath the drop leaf, but this has been fully historically treated (see photograph).
