This set of dining chairs are made from solid oak, with comfortable rush seats, and a spindle back design, such features all add to the country style of these antique chairs.
With a triple tier of figured backrest rails that connects to the spindles. The side rails have been finished with a small finial carved into the top. The side rails lead down to form the solid square back legs.
A double side stretcher to either side and a back stretcher to the chair, aswell as the wonderful carved front support all provide solid structure to the chairs.
Holding the front solid circular legs that have been finished with a circular carved feet design.
Such a classic design, this set is perfect for a country dining room and kitchen setting, or for use in the bedroom and hallway.
Overall this set of 4 Chair are in good antique condition, showing signs of use, veneer wear and obvious wear to the rush seats but still structurally sound, as to be expected from chairs with years of age and use.
There are obvious signs of historical woodworm that have been professionally treated by the previous owner.
