The chair displays an excellently carved pierced splat back with a wheat like design, that has a fantastic curved upper rail and two side rails. The side rails lead down to form the 2 solid square back legs.
With a gorgeous mahogany plank seat that has carved edges, truly adding an antique charm to the home.
The solid square front legs are connected to the back legs with a lower solid H-frame stretcher, and a back square stretcher.
This is a delightful Victorian Chair that would compliment a hallway, bedroom or home kitchen setting.
Overall, this Victorian bedroom chair is in great antique condition, with signs of use and wear, a rare quality antique with years of age (see photographs).
There is a chip to the front left leg, and the seat does not sit flush to the left side, but this has no structural effect (see photographs).
