This is a gorgeous pair of 19th-century Victorian Chair that exude country warmth that would compliment the kitchen, hallway, or bedroom setting.
These chairs displays an excellently carved pierced splat back design, that has a fantastic curved upper rail and two side rails. The side rails lead down to form the 2 solid square back legs.
With a gorgeous rich Elm patination to the solid seat, finished with carved edges that would truly add an antique charm to the home.
The square front legs are connected to the backlegs by four solid square stretchers.
These delightful Victorian country Chairs would compliment a period or country home setting.
Overall, these Victorian bedroom chairs are in great antique condition, with signs of use and wear, a quality antique with years of age (see photographs).
There are two minor visual cracks to the back splats that have been historically glued repair (see photographs).
There are historical woodworm holes to one of the chairs front right, back of the seat, and under the chair and stretchers, but these have all been treated fully (see photographs).
