This wonderful 19th Century armchair would excentuate the home décor with it's gorgeous handcrafted features.
The backrest is constructed from 7 spindles to the back, which is held by two carved upper rails and a lower rail.
The square carved side rails connect to the proud armrests and lead down to form the backward splayed square legs.
The open armrests have striking carved front supports, which lead down to form the front legs.
The chair has a lovely wide rush seat and a cushion for further comfort.
The legs are all connected with a square support to the front, a double turned spindle to either side, and a single spindle to the back.
Displaying a gorgeous mahogany patination to the frame that provides a rich, timeless style to the home.
This charming 1890's Country Armchairs is sure to impress in the home kitchen, bedroom, or living room setting.
Overall, this armchair is in great condition, with obvious signs of use and veneer wear, as to be expected from chairs with years of age (see photographs).
There is a visible scratch to the right inside side rail (see photograph).
With a couple stains to the cushion (see photograph).
