An original, traditional fireside coal helmet in copper metal with a wonderful patina, only seen in quality historic antiques.
Crafted in the shape of a helmet, with a rolled handle mounded on bronze hinges mounted on a conical base.
The original construction rivets are still showing, providing a lovely character for many living, dining rooms, fireplaces or even in the hall for wood storage.
Overall it is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use or markings, as to be expected commensurate with age (See photographs).
