This is a gorgeous ebonised 19th century Childs Windsor High Chair that would fit perfectly in many country or period homes, for a child's kitchen High Chair or dining chair.
With a curved back rail that is connected by spindles to the armrest, further supported by lower spindles.
Stood on 4 outward splayed tall turned legs, connected by a lower h-frame stretcher.
Such a striking windsor childs armchair that really would add a touch of character or charm to many rooms.
Overall it is in a used antique condition, with signs of used and veneer wear to the ebonised veneer, as to be expected from an item with many years of age.
There are signs of historical woodworm that have been professionally treated by the previous owner.
There are signs of glue to the chair joints.
One of the lower stretchers and the back left leg have historically broken and been repaired, showing signs of glue.
The front right spindle is missing (as photographed).
