This is a beautiful Victorian period child's displays a rich Elm wood patina.
With a curved backrest bar that connects the elegantly turned side rails to three central turned spindles.
The beautiful turned armrests are held with a turned support that sits on the solid seat.
Proudly stood on 4 outward splayed turned legs that are finished with circular feet.
The chair is designed for a child and features a removable lid, there is also rails under the chair to hold a potty.
The chair is perfect for use as intended or simply as a child's chair in a country kitchen, bedroom, living room, lounge, guestroom, hallway, and dining room setting.
Overall, it is in great antique condition with minimal signs of use and wear, such a fantastic childs chair.
There is a chip to the removable seat, there is a cut to the side of the armrest, and slight damage to the back of the backrest (as photographed).
There are holes to the armrests.
