This front of this chest displays a wonderful camphor wood patina, which adds to the visual character and charm of this chest of drawers.
The front of the chest displays 10 gorgeous drop brass handles that are fit to the drawers.
The chests top section has 2 deep, large side drawers, with 2 slim drawers between, and a large lower drawer underneath.
The chests lower section has 2 large drawers, which are perfect for storing linens, blankets or clothing.
This chest of drawers has been constructed in two sections that fit together. Each section has handles for more easy transportation.
There are handles to the top section, but the bottom section has a handle missing to the left side (see photographs).
Leading down, this chest of drawers stands proudly on four solid turned legs.

Overall, this campaign chest has signs of being heavily used, damage to the wood and brass bound components, this is to be expected from an antique item with years of historical age.
There has been an additional wooden piece added to the lower front left and left side of the chest. The back left foot has also been replaced (see photographs).
There are obvious signs of woodworm to the underside of the bottom chest, that has been professionally treated by the previous owner.
There is a notch of wood taken from one drawer front, and there is signs of historical glue to a crack on another drawer (see photographs).
There are screw holes to the right side of the chest where a repair has been.
There are key holes but they are not working and have been filled in.
