The desk is supported by two pull out slats with drop handles, that can be extended to hold the desk front open. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThere is the original working lock to the desk front that can be locked by the key present (see photograph).The drawers have locks but the key does not lock them.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe striking interior comprises of six beautiful inlaid drawers, with six small drawers hidden above the six pigeon holes.
